Day 1: Arrival in Helsinki

Arrive in Helsinki and transfer to your hotel. The evening is free to settle in after the journey, with an optional short walk in the Finnish capital. A relaxed start before flying north. Overnight in Helsinki.

Day 2: Helsinki to Lapland

Take the internal flight to the Ivalo area and transfer to Saariselka in Finnish Lapland. Settle into the Arctic surroundings, with the first chance to watch for the Northern Lights after dark, weather permitting. Overnight in the Saariselka or Ivalo area.

Day 3: Husky and reindeer experience

Day 4: Snowmobile safari and aurora hunt

Day 5: Lapland to Tromso

Day 6: Tromso and fjord cruise

Explore Tromso with its Arctic Cathedral and the Fjellheisen cable car for panoramic views, plus an optional Tromso fjord cruise. A further Northern Lights opportunity after dark, weather permitting. Overnight in Tromso.

Day 7: Tromso to Oslo

Fly south to Oslo. On arrival, a city orientation takes in the Vigeland Park, the Opera House and the harbourfront, with time to enjoy the Norwegian capital. Overnight in Oslo.

Day 8: Oslo to Copenhagen

Travel onward to Copenhagen. A city look takes in the Nyhavn waterfront, the Little Mermaid and the Tivoli Gardens exterior, with free time to settle in. Overnight in Copenhagen.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Copenhagen airport for the return flight. Depending on timing, a final waterfront walk or some souvenir shopping may be possible before departure.
