Niyo Global update 2026 — Equitas partnership ended

Important update for existing Niyo users: the Niyo-Equitas partnership ended and the zero forex markup benefit on Equitas-issued Niyo cards has been discontinued. Existing Equitas-Niyo users are now charged 1.5-3.5% markup. Niyo has migrated the zero-markup product to DCB Bank India and SBM Bank India partners. TCS on forex — the ₹10 lakh threshold

Loading a forex card or making a wire transfer abroad counts toward the LRS ₹10 lakh annual threshold; above this, 20% TCS applies (reduced rates for education and medical).
