FlightGPT vs Google Flights
Quick answer: Google Flights shows every seller's price for a flight and has a date grid, price graph and price tracking. FlightGPT includes Google Flights listings, shows the cheapest offer per flight, lets you search in plain English and adds series fares from travel agents such as Tatkal Flights. Scan dates on Google Flights; check your day on FlightGPT.

Where Google Flights is better
Coverage and date tools. Google Flights lists every seller's price for a flight, so you can pick a specific agent; FlightGPT shows only the cheapest offer per flight. The date grid and price graph show a whole month at once, which FlightGPT cannot do — it searches one date at a time. Price tracking emails you when a fare moves; FlightGPT has no alerts. And for round trips, Google prices the return ticket itself, which is sometimes cheaper than two one-way fares.
Where FlightGPT is better
Two things. First, the way you search: you can type the whole trip — route, date, time of day, non-stop, an airline to avoid — in one sentence, and refine it in the same chat ("only morning flights", "what about Saturday?"). Second, agent fares: FlightGPT adds Tatkal Flights, which sells series fares bought in bulk from airlines. Those don't always appear on Google Flights and are often lower on the same flight. When a Google Flights listing is cheapest, FlightGPT sends you to Google Flights anyway, so you lose nothing by starting there.
The same trip, searched both ways
Say you need Delhi to Bengaluru on a Saturday, leaving after 2 pm, non-stop, and you'd rather not fly SpiceJet.
- On Google Flights: pick the airports, set the date, open the filters for stops, departure time and airlines, then sort by price. You see every airline's flights and can open each one to compare the agents selling it.
- On FlightGPT: type "cheapest non-stop Delhi to Bengaluru Saturday after 2 pm, no SpiceJet". The filters are applied from the sentence, and each row is one flight with the cheapest offer already picked — including a partner agent's series fare if it beats Google's listing. "What about Sunday?" runs the next search in the same chat.
Neither is wrong. Google Flights gives you more control over each seller; FlightGPT gets you to the cheapest offer per flight in fewer steps.
After you book
Both sites step out once you pay. Changes, cancellations and refunds go through whoever sold you the ticket — the airline or the travel agent — and the PNR on the airline's confirmation email is what you'll need at check-in. If you booked a series fare through a FlightGPT partner, read its change and refund terms before paying: series fares are often non-refundable.
Which should you use?
- Your dates are flexible — start with Google Flights' date grid, then check your chosen day on FlightGPT for agent fares.
- Your date is fixed — FlightGPT, because it checks Google Flights listings and agent fares in one search.
- You want to watch a fare for weeks — Google Flights price tracking.
- You're flying with children or infants — FlightGPT currently shows partner fares only for those searches, so check Google Flights too.

Frequently asked questions
Is FlightGPT better than Google Flights?
For scanning many dates, no — Google Flights has a date grid and price tracking that FlightGPT lacks as of October 2026. For one fixed date, FlightGPT checks Google Flights listings and travel-agent series fares together.
Does FlightGPT use Google Flights data?
Yes. Google Flights listings are one of FlightGPT's two fare sources; the other is Tatkal Flights, a partner travel agent. When a Google listing is cheapest, a tap opens Google Flights.
Is Google Flights available in India?
Yes, at google.com/travel/flights, with fares in rupees. Google Flights doesn't sell tickets; it sends you to the airline or an agent.
Which is cheaper, FlightGPT or Google Flights?
Neither charges you anything. The fare depends on the seller: FlightGPT can be cheaper when a series-fare agent undercuts the airline, and shows Google's price when it doesn't.
Can FlightGPT track prices like Google Flights?
No, not as of October 2026. Use Google Flights price tracking, or search FlightGPT again every few days.
Do I book on Google or on FlightGPT?
Neither. Both send you to the seller — an airline or travel agent — who takes payment and issues the ticket.
