Dubai + Abu Dhabi Family Holiday day-by-day itinerary (7N/8D)
Day 1: Arrival in Dubai
Arrive in Dubai, transfer to your hotel and settle in. Take the evening at an easy pace with a walk around the neighbourhood and dinner nearby, resting up before the busy days ahead and the early starts the parks will bring.
Day 2: Dubai city and dhow cruise
Explore the city — Old Dubai's Creek, the gold and spice souks, and the modern Marina and Jumeirah waterfront. There is time for Dubai Mall and the fountain show. In the evening board a dhow dinner cruise for a buffet meal past the city lights.
Day 3: Burj Khalifa and desert safari
Ride up the Burj Khalifa to the 124th-floor deck and take in the panorama before exploring more of Dubai Mall. In the afternoon head out on a desert safari with dune bashing, camel rides and a barbecue dinner with live performances at the desert camp.
Day 4: Transfer to Abu Dhabi, Grand Mosque
Check out and drive to Abu Dhabi. On arrival visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — observe the modest-dress code (abayas provided) and allow time for its vast marble courtyard and chandeliered prayer halls. Check in to your Abu Dhabi hotel for the evening.
Day 5: Ferrari World on Yas Island
A full day at Ferrari World, the Ferrari-themed park with Formula Rossa among the world's fastest coasters, plus family rides, driving experiences and shows. Much of it is indoors and air-conditioned, so the heat outside is no barrier to a long day.
Day 6: Warner Bros World
Spend the day at Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, a fully indoor park with DC superhero, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera zones — a strong mix of thrill rides and gentle attractions for younger children. Yas Waterworld is an optional alternative or add-on this day.
Day 7: Free day in Abu Dhabi
A flexible day to relax by the hotel pool, visit the Corniche beach, or add an attraction such as Qasr Al Watan presidential palace or the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Use it to recover and enjoy the city before the journey home.
Day 8: Departure
Final breakfast and check-out, then transfer to Abu Dhabi or Dubai airport for your return flight, depending on your routing, closing out the two-emirate family trip.
