Day 1: Arrive Manali

Arrive in Manali after the Volvo from Delhi and check in. After resting, visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple in its cedar forest and the nearby Manu Temple, then stroll Old Manali's cafes in the evening.

Day 2: Solang Valley

Spend the day at the Solang Valley for mountain views and adventure activities such as paragliding, the zip line and, in season, snow play and skiing, subject to conditions. Return to Manali for the evening.

Day 3: Rohtang Pass or Atal Tunnel and Sissu

Take an excursion to the Rohtang Pass for high-altitude snow and views when it is open, subject to permits and weather. When Rohtang is closed, drive through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu in the Lahaul Valley instead, with its waterfall and snowy peaks.

Day 4: Manali at leisure

A relaxed day in Manali for any remaining sights, the Vashisht hot springs, and cafe-hopping and shopping on Mall Road for Kullu shawls and handicrafts.

Day 5: Departure

What if Rohtang is closed?
