Day 1: Bagdogra to Darjeeling

Arrive at Bagdogra and drive up to Darjeeling, the famous tea-and-ridge hill station. Check in and spend the evening around Chowrasta and the Mall, browsing shops and enjoying the cool air and views over the tea slopes.

Day 2: Darjeeling - Tiger Hill sunrise

Wake early for the sunrise over Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill (weather permitting), a signature Darjeeling experience. Visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, and optionally ride the heritage Toy Train. Explore tea gardens and the town at leisure.

Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok

Drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok, the hillside capital of Sikkim. Check in and spend the evening on lively, pedestrianised MG Road, lined with cafes and shops, soaking in the clean, orderly mountain-city atmosphere.

Day 4: Tsongmo Lake & Baba Mandir

A high-altitude excursion to the glacial Tsongmo (Changu) Lake at around 3,750m and the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (permits and weather permitting). Enjoy yak rides and snow views by the lake, then return to Gangtok for the evening.

Day 5: Gangtok sightseeing

Explore Gangtok's sights, including the peaceful Ranka (Lingdum) Monastery, the Enchey Monastery, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Ban Jhakri Falls. Enjoy leisure time on MG Road for shopping and local food.

Day 6: Gangtok to Bagdogra - departure

After breakfast and check-out, drive down to Bagdogra airport for your onward departure, ending the Darjeeling-Gangtok circuit.
