Frequently asked questions
Do Indian passport holders need a visa?
Yes. A UK Standard Visitor visa is required and is included in the package fee. We will share the document checklist and book your VFS appointment after the booking is confirmed. Apply at least 45 days before departure as UK visa appointments can be slow.
What is the weather like during the tour?
May to June daytime temperatures sit at 14 to 22 degrees with light rain possible. October departures are cooler at 10 to 16 degrees with shorter days. Pack layers and a rainproof jacket for both seasons.
Are vegetarian and Jain meals available?
Yes. The UK has a very strong Indian dining scene, and all dinners are at Indian restaurants. Birmingham's Balti Triangle and London's Wembley area in particular have excellent vegetarian and Jain options.
Will I get to enter the football stadiums?
Yes. The package includes a behind-the-scenes stadium tour of Old Trafford or the Etihad, subject to match-day availability. On a Premier League match day the tour may be swapped to the other stadium or moved a day.
How fit do I need to be?
Moderate. Expect 5 to 7 kilometres of walking per day, several long coach drives between cities, and the Changing of the Guard ceremony which involves standing for around an hour.
What should I pack?
Layered clothing, a windproof and rainproof jacket, an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes already broken in, a power adapter for the UK three-pin socket, and any personal medication.
Can I extend the trip on my own?
Yes. Common add-ons include Edinburgh, the Cotswolds, or a Paris leg via Eurostar. Speak to our consultant at the time of booking.
