Best of Turkey day-by-day itinerary (9N/10D)
Day 1: Arrival in Cappadocia
Fly from Mumbai and arrive in Cappadocia. Transfer to your hotel and begin soaking up the region's otherworldly landscape of fairy chimneys and rock valleys. First Indian dinner with the group.
Day 2: Cappadocia sightseeing
Explore the Goreme open-air museum with its rock-cut churches, the fairy chimneys of Pasabag, the castle-town of Uchisar and local craft workshops. Optional dawn hot-air balloon ride at extra cost. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3: Cappadocia to Konya
Travel to Konya, stopping en route at a Seljuk-era caravanserai. In Konya, visit the Mevlana area associated with the poet Rumi and enjoy a whirling dervish show in the evening. Overnight in Konya.
Day 4: Konya to Antalya
Drive through the Taurus Mountains to Antalya on the Mediterranean coast. Explore the old town of Kaleici with its Roman harbour and Hadrian's Gate, and enjoy the seaside setting. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 5: Antalya at leisure
