Egypt Nile + Hurghada Beach Cruise tour package — 10N/11D itinerary, price and inclusions

This adds a Red Sea beach finale at Hurghada to the classic Cairo-and-Nile journey, making a culture-and-relaxation combo that suits families. The first week mirrors the great Egyptian tour: Cairo's Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum, then a four-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan calling at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, and the riverside temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. The trip then unwinds with three nights on Hurghada's Red Sea coast, where calm warm water and coral reefs make for excellent snorkelling. All internal flights are included. Honest note: the temple-heavy first half involves early starts and a lot of walking in heat, so the beach days are a well-earned wind-down; site dress codes and sun protection apply throughout. starting at INR 1,80,000 per person. Covers Cairo 3N, Nile cruise 4N, Hurghada 3N.

Egypt Nile + Hurghada Beach Cruise day-by-day itinerary (10N/11D)

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Land in Cairo, clear immigration and transfer to your hotel. Settle in after the flight and take an easy first evening. Rest up before a full day at the pyramids tomorrow, which opens the cultural part of the journey.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Sphinx

A landmark day at Giza — the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, with an optional inside-pyramid visit — followed by Sakkara's Step Pyramid and ancient Memphis. Carry water and sun protection for the desert sites. Return to Cairo for an evening at leisure.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum and bazaar

Explore the Egyptian Museum's treasures, including artefacts from Tutankhamun's tomb (note some may now be at the Grand Egyptian Museum), then browse the bustling Khan El Khalili bazaar. Enjoy a relaxed evening before flying south to begin the cruise tomorrow.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor, embark the cruise

Fly to Luxor and board your Nile cruiser. Visit the vast Karnak temple complex and Luxor Temple, walking among towering columns and sphinx-lined avenues. Settle into the ship and enjoy dinner onboard as the river journey begins.

Day 5: Luxor west bank

Cross to the west bank for the Valley of the Kings and its painted royal tombs, the terraced temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Start early to avoid the heat. Sail on towards Edfu, enjoying the Nile scenery from the deck during the afternoon.

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo

Visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, reached by horse-carriage, then the riverside double Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Enjoy the relaxed sailing between sites and an evening onboard the cruiser with the river slipping by.

Day 7: Aswan

Arrive in Aswan to visit the High Dam and the island Temple of Philae, with a felucca sail around the islands often included. Disembark and transfer onward to Hurghada by road (a few hours across the desert), checking in to your Red Sea resort for the evening.

Day 8: Hurghada beach day

A relaxed first beach day on the Red Sea coast. Unwind on the sand and in the calm, warm water, or enjoy the resort pool after the busy temple days. Settle into the slower pace, with optional watersports available at your own arrangement.

Day 9: Hurghada snorkelling

Take a snorkelling excursion to the Red Sea's coral reefs, which teem with colourful fish and are among the finest in the world (a boat trip to Giftun Island is a popular option, usually extra). Return to relax at the resort and enjoy a coastal evening.

Day 10: Hurghada at leisure

A final flexible day on the coast. Relax by the sea, add an optional desert quad-bike or another snorkelling trip, or simply enjoy the resort. Take it easy after the cultural and active days, and savour a last evening on the Red Sea.

Day 11: Departure

Final breakfast and check-out, then transfer to Hurghada airport (or via Cairo, depending on routing) for your return flight home, ending the culture-and-beach Egypt holiday.
