Frequently asked questions
Do Indian passport holders need a visa?
Yes. A single Schengen visa covers all four countries and is included in the package fee. We will share the document checklist and book your VFS appointment after the booking is confirmed. Apply at least 30 days before departure.
What is the weather like in May?
Late spring across all four cities, with daytime temperatures of 14 to 22 degrees and cool evenings around 10 to 14 degrees. Occasional light rain. Mt Titlis is below zero year-round. Pack layers and a heavy jacket for the snow day.
Are vegetarian and Jain meals available?
Yes. All dinners on the tour are at Indian restaurants and most offer Jain options on prior request. Hotel breakfasts have vegetarian items though they are continental in style.
Is the long coach drive day comfortable?
Coaches are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and washrooms on board. Drives are broken into segments of two to three hours with lunch and rest stops. Bring a neck pillow if you sleep on the coach.
How fit do I need to be?
Moderate. Expect 5 to 7 kilometres of walking per day on cobbled streets, short climbs at attractions, and several long coach days. Anti-skid grips on your shoes help at Mt Titlis.
What should I pack?
Layered clothing, a heavy jacket and gloves for Mt Titlis, a compact umbrella, comfortable walking shoes already broken in, a power adapter for European and Swiss sockets, and any personal medication.
Can I extend the trip on my own?
Yes. Common add-ons include London via Eurostar or a Rome leg by Swiss air. Speak to our consultant at the time of booking.
