Day 1: Arrival in Leh - rest

Fly into Leh and transfer to your 4-star hotel. Rest for the day to acclimatise to the high altitude, hydrating well. The included oxygen cylinder is a useful backup, but taking it easy is the best strategy. Overnight in Leh.

Day 2: Leh sightseeing & monasteries

A gentle acclimatisation day: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, the market, and monasteries such as Thiksey and Shey, all at a relaxed, comfortable pace. Overnight at the 4-star Leh hotel.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra via Khardung La

Cross Khardung La into the Nubra Valley. At Hunder, enjoy a premium Bactrian camel ride among the sand dunes and visit Diskit Monastery with its giant Buddha. Overnight in Nubra.

Day 4: Nubra to Pangong - heated tents

Day 5: Pangong to Tso Moriri

A long, remote drive to the high-altitude Tso Moriri at around 15,075ft, passing Korzok village and the Changthang plateau's nomad camps. Take in the serene, purple-blue lake (weather permitting). Overnight near Tso Moriri.

Day 6: Tso Moriri to Leh

Return to Leh across the high plateau, with photo stops and wildlife spotting en route. Evening at leisure at the 4-star Leh hotel for rest and last shopping. Overnight in Leh.

Day 7: Departure from Leh
