Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive in Guwahati on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra and check in. Visit the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, one of India's most important Shakti shrines, and enjoy a riverside evening. Optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati - Umananda Island
Take a short ferry to Umananda Island, the world's smallest inhabited river island, with its Shiva temple. Explore more of Guwahati's temples and markets, then a relaxed evening in the city. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 3: Guwahati to Kaziranga
