Do Indian passport holders need a visa?

Yes. A single Schengen visa covers all five countries and is included in the package fee. We will share the document checklist and book your VFS appointment after the booking is confirmed. Apply at least 30 days before departure.

What is the weather like in September?

Early autumn with daytime temperatures of 15 to 24 degrees across the route. Italy is the warmest at the end. Mt Titlis is below zero year-round. Pack layers, a heavy jacket for the snow day, and a compact umbrella.

Are vegetarian and Jain meals available?

Yes. All dinners on the tour are at Indian restaurants and most offer Jain options on prior request. Hotel breakfasts have vegetarian items though they are continental in style.

Is this long coach tour comfortable?

Coaches are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and washrooms on board. Drives are broken into segments of two to three hours with lunch and rest stops. Bring a neck pillow if you sleep on the coach.

How fit do I need to be?

Moderate to high. Expect 6 to 8 kilometres of walking per day on cobbled streets and several long coach days. Anti-skid grips on your shoes help at Mt Titlis.

What should I pack?

Layered clothing, a heavy jacket and gloves for Mt Titlis, a compact umbrella, comfortable walking shoes already broken in, a power adapter for European, Swiss, and Italian sockets, and any personal medication.

Can I extend the trip on my own?
